Sneak Peek: Trina Solar at SPI 2019

In just a few weeks, the largest gathering of solar, smart energy, energy storage and hydrogen fuel cells professionals in North America will take place at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. September 23rd through 26th marks North America Smart Energy Week, powered by industry-leading organizations the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA). The week’s main event, Solar Power International (SPI), will bring together an extensive alliance of renewable energy leaders for four days of networking, accredited educational events and innovation to move the industry forward.

A bright place

As a market leader, Trina Solar is looking forward to exhibiting our products again at SPI 2019, especially in the host state of Utah, ranked 10th in the country for solar. According to the SEIA/GTM Research U.S. Solar Market Insight, Utah’s total installed solar capacity has grown from 51.8 MW in 2018 to 1,661 MW this year. This accounts for 6.4% of the state’s electricity as reported by the Energy Information Administration. Trina Solar is proud to have helped the Utah solar market as well as the global market achieve substantial growth in such a short time, and we are excited to share our solar solutions with the local, national and international presence at SPI 2019.

Join us at SPI 2019!

You won’t want to miss one of the world's biggest showcases for everything currently happening in the world of solar power. The SPI Exhibit Hall will be open Tuesday through Thursday, and the Trina Solar team is looking forward to seeing you at booth #500. We will also be giving away TrinaPro notepads and Trina Solar pen screwdriver sets!

While you’re at SPI, be sure to attend The PV Afterlife Thursday, September 26th at 10:00 AM to hear our very own Ryan Simpson, Trina’s Head of Products and Marketing in the Americas, and other industry experts speak about new advances in PV module/inverter recycling technology and refurbishment. They will also be talking about the related policy landscape and how to rebuild a more robust network geared toward reuse and recycling.

Your next solar partnership awaits at SPI 2019, booth #500. See you there!
